Robot Coupe MP450 & R2N Parts: Blades, Attachments & Replacement Guide

Robot Coupe makes two very different tools that shoppers often search for together: the MP450 (and MP450 Turbo), a commercial immersion/stick blender for pureeing directly in stockpots and steam kettles, and the R2N, a bench-top food processor for slicing, dicing, and chopping with interchangeable discs. Knowing which one you have — and which parts belong to which — is the first step to ordering the right replacement.

MP450 / MP450 Turbo immersion blender

Built for high-volume kitchens pureeing soups, sauces, and batters in large-capacity pots. The parts that see the most wear:

• Shaft seal: wears from repeated submersion and washing; a failing seal is the usual cause of a blender leaking or losing suction feel.
• Blade assembly: dulls over time or chips on contact with pot walls, bones, or frozen product — the direct cause of slower, less consistent purees.
• Speed control / trigger switch: a common electrical wear point on units used multiple times a day.

R2N food processor

A bench-top processor built around interchangeable bowls and cutting discs rather than a single fixed blade. Typical service items:

• Cutting discs and S-blades: the highest-turnover item — discs dull with use and are sized specifically to the R2N bowl, so they aren't interchangeable with other Robot Coupe models.
• Bowl lid and safety interlock: the processor won't run if the interlock switch or lid gasket is damaged — check this before assuming a motor fault.
• Drive shaft seal: similar wear pattern to the MP450's shaft seal, from washing and normal use.

Find your model and serial number first

Robot Coupe's data plate is on the base of the unit, underneath or on the back of the motor housing. Record the full model (MP450, MP450 Turbo, R2N, R2N Ultra, etc.) and serial number before ordering — discs, blades, and seals are model-specific even within the same product line.
